MORE THAN JUST A WALKING GROUP
Walk Kernow was set up in 2012 by Kelly Bennett after personally experiencing the benefits that Nordic Walking can give. Kelly wanted to share her love for walking along with its physical and mental health benefits. Walk Kernow has also become a place for Walk Kernow Members to socialise & enjoy other activities too, making Walk Kernow a whole fitness, well-being and lifestyle group.
Kelly & the Team bring you safe, well-planned, fun Walks across the beautiful Cornish Countryside.
NORDIC WALKING FOR BEGINNERS
Our Nordic Walking Beginners Workshops are a fun session run by one of our qualified INWA* instructors which last approximately 90 mins. During the session, you will learn the 10 steps of Nordic Walking, and the correct techniques to get the most out of your walk. You won't need anything as such for this session as poles are provided and the price includes your own new straps. Your new straps can also be used with our hire poles on future Nordic Walks with us.

DAY WALKS & BREAKS
Time to get away and have some fun in the Cornish Countryside experiencing a different more natural side of Cornwall.
Enjoy a Day Walk with us on a fully risk-assessed route, with refreshment break(s)* and without having to follow a map so you can truly relax. You can really get to see some of the wonderful places in Cornwall with these stunning walks. Our Qualified Walk Leaders are first aid trained and carry a first aid kit. So put your phone away and enjoy a stress-free Day Walk.
Walk distances will vary due to the terrain.

Our breaks do not include accommodation so that you are free to choose from the wonderful places to stay in Cornwall. You can choose from camping to luxury accommodation.
*If you choose a walk that includes a boat trip to the start of your walk(s) or if you require a minibus there will be an additional charge for this.
