Our walking and trekking holidays in England and a wonderful way to explore the abundance of fantastic landscapes and ancient heritage of England. Whether you’re searching for a challenging long-distance trek, or just a short weekend break in the outdoors, England can offer wild open spaces, walks along Roman walls, Cornish afternoon teas and Wainwright’s fells in the Lake District National Park.

Our sister company, also based in Keswick, puts together self-guided holidays along some of the finest walking trails in England. From the absolute classic trail created by Alfred Wainwright – the Coast to Coast, all 193 miles of it, to walking the wall that Hadrian built across the wild borderland with Scotland to the gorgeous rolling cliffs of the South West Coast Path passing through Dorset, Cornwall and Devon.

There’s also gentler self-guided walking weekends in the Lake District like the Vale of Lorton trail and, our favourite longer trail in the Lakes, The Inn Way featuring a fantastic Lakeland pub every day, plus try out some easier walking trails in the South –the Cotswold’s Way and the Cotswold Round thread their way through quintessential English countryside and gorgeous golden-stoned villages.
