Inn Travel – the slow holiday people
An Inntravel holiday is all about finding time to escape the everyday demands of life
Explore the lesser-known path. Find that hidden corner. Take yourselves somewhere you’ve always wanted to go. Immerse yourselves into the rhythm and patterns of local life as you walk, cycle, ski, or journey through wonderful landscapes.
An Inntravel holiday is all about finding time to escape the everyday demands of life and enjoy beautiful scenery and discover fascinating places. It’s a holiday to no-one’s timetable but your own, helping you to recharge, re-energise, and feel refreshed. We call them Slow holidays.
Walking holidays in the UK that relax and reinvigorate
One reason to choose an Inntravel walking holiday in the UK is to see an area up close. Ours are Slow holidays, and so our diligently planned routes (explained in easy-to-read notes) are short enough that you don’t have to rush. And because you have no group and no luggage (we take care of that), you can make impromptu stops at churches, stately homes and castles, all of which, along with the accommodation of great charm, makes for a memorable walking break in the UK.
In most towns and villages we use small, welcoming guesthouses, cosy pubs and friendly B&Bs with just a few rooms each, and so we are unable to accommodate large parties. Sometimes we use country hotels that are somewhat larger, with more facilities and a higher standard of comfort, though the welcome and sense of intimacy is in no way diminished.
