Trevalgan Farm Holidays – St Ives, Cornwall
Why choose between coast & countryside? At Trevalgan you don’t have to.
Trevalgan Farm is a working farm in St Ives, Cornwall, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, boasting its very own stretch of the Cornish coastline!
A working farm on the outskirts of St Ives, Cornwall in an area of outstanding natural beauty, our land is right on the South West Coast Path – turn right for St Ives and left for Zennor!
St Ives is just a short drive away with its shops, galleries, restaurants and of course the beautiful beaches that are bound to take your breath away. From May to September let the regular shuttle bus take away the pain of trying to park in St. Ives allowing you to really unwind.
Most of our holiday lets are dog-friendly if your four-legged friend wants to come too!
Perfect for families, children will love meeting our dogs, cats, chickens, ducks and goats, as well as playing in our onsite play area or indoor Games Room with Toddler play section.
Made up of 113 acres, Trevalgan Farm has been in the Osborne family for around 60 years and we are the third generation to live on and farm the land.
Up until 1982, it was run as a dairy enterprise – some of our original guests still remember coming up to the farmhouse to collect their cans of fresh milk each morning!
Our Trevalgan Farm Cottages
Sympathetically converted from former farm buildings, our holiday cottages provide attractive and cosy accommodation set against a stunning backdrop of rolling fields, rugged cliffs and the majestic Atlantic Ocean.
Holidays are important whatever your reason for wanting to get away. We care about what we’re doing and it shows.
During our busiest periods, stays must be a week or fortnight long, starting on either a Friday or Saturday depending on which property you book. For the rest of the year we try to be as flexible as possible on arrival dates and length of stay.
The Granary
The Granary has now re-opened after a makeover (March ’22), it is on the first floor of the main building and entered up a slope, with railings. The slope/ramp was originally used for wheeling sacks of corn to the loft for winter cattle feed.
The lovely big window in the open-plan level living area gives wonderful views over the fields to the sea. The bedroom windows look down onto the attractive courtyard where the cows used to wait to be milked.
Relax on the large lawn while the children play. The Granary is ideal for a couple or a family of four.

Location really doesn’t come any better
Despite our idyllic rural location Trevalgan Farm is just one and a half miles from St Ives, described as one of the last unspoiled seaside resorts in the UK with beaches rivalling the Caribbean.
There’s no denying the fact that it’s our location that really makes us stand out from our competitors, not everyone can boast their very own stretch of the Cornish Coastline. Trevalgan is set in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty on West Cornwall’s rugged and dramatically beautiful north coast.
Visitors can feel as if they truly have “got away from it all” but a short drive, or hop onto the regular shuttle bus (May-Sept), or gentle 45 min stroll across the field footpath, takes you to picturesque St. Ives with its world class beaches, quality surfing, the Tate Gallery plus a multitude of shops, galleries, bars and restaurants. The A30 (Cornwall’s main trunk road) is only ten minutes away so everything Cornwall has to offer is easily accessible.
