Hafan Yr Haul is a perfect location for walking, hiking, cycling and mountain biking. On the Mawddach trail, close to Cader Idris and a short drive to Coed y Brenin. Blue flag beaches, crystal clear lakes and lots of activities including SUP and pony trekking in the immediate vicinity. 

The contemporary house is well equipped and offers 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. All 4 rooms can be doubles with Superking beds or 2 can be arranged as twin rooms. 

Secure bike storage, a large utility room and an outside hose make it the ideal base for those enjoying an active holiday. Not forgetting all the creature comforts you’ll need at the end of the day including underfloor heating, log burner and rain head showers.

The House

Upstairs you will find a large open plan dining kitchen separated from the living room by a feature wall incorporating a double-sided log burner. There is a handy w.c. at the main entrance. From the hallway, you move through to the Master bedroom with a large picture window and, of course, an ensuite bathroom, complete with a rain-head shower.

Downstairs you will find 3 more bedrooms, another with an ensuite bathroom and kingsize bed, plus 2 more with Super king-size beds that can be separated into full-size twin beds if you prefer. The family bathroom offers a large bath and a separate shower.

You will also find a large games room complete with a Smart 4k TV and Playstation 3, as well as a multi-game table providing pool, hockey and table tennis for children – or anyone else…! There’s a day bed and trundle offering the 2 additional beds should you need to sleep 10. This room also provides the laundry facilities including a washer/drier, additional sink, an extra fridge and storage space.

The Snowdonia National Park and the coastline near to hafan Yr Haul have plenty to offer visitors.

Even within easy walking distance of Hafan Yr Haul you’ll find spectacular scenery in places like Barmouth, Fairbourne, and the Mawddach Trail, along which you can stroll towards Dolgellau along the Mawddach estuary.

Inland you can walk to the famous Arthog Falls, or hop in the car and drive to the spectacular Cregennan lakes and wonder at the fantastic walks and views available in the area.
