Great Orme Cottage is tucked away along a quiet road, half way up the Great Orme in Llandudno, you will find this beautiful semi-detached cottage.
Enjoying wonderful countryside views from the doorstep, the cottage is ideal for those seeking a peaceful and tranquil escape in this stunning conservation area, with all the benefits of a vibrant, Victorian, seaside resort at the foot of the hill. The cottage is a stone's throw away from the halfway tram station.
You can enjoy the stunning beauty of the Great Orme or you can take a ride down on the tram to the hustle and bustle of Llandudno’s town centre. If you’re feeling a little more energetic it is approximately a fifteen-minute walk down to the foot of the hill. If you’d like to head to the summit of the Great Orme, you’ll be greeted by breath-taking views, a café, shop, children’s playground and crazy golf.
There is lots to do in Llandudno – take a stroll along the promenade and the pier, hit the beach with your bucket and spade or head to the town centre where you’ll find all the shops you could possibly want. Amble around the old part of the town with all its Victorian charm and character or head to the new retail park with all the big high street names. Llandudno boasts two shores – The North Shore is a hive of activity whilst the West Shore, in contrast, is peaceful and boasts a nice sandy beach with spectacular views. There is a beautiful coastal walk from the West Shore to the historic town of Conwy. Conwy boasts a magnificent medieval fortress and castle dating back to the 13th century!
Key Great Orme Cottage Features
RENTAL PERIODS
The cottage is available for rent for full weeks (Saturday to Saturday), or short breaks (Saturday to Tuesday or Tuesday to Saturday). Check-in is available from 5 pm and check out is required by 10.00 am.
Short breaks may be possible on different days outside of peak season (Beginning of November to mid-December and mid-January to the end of March). Please contact us to discuss further.
ACCOMMODATION
The cottage can accommodate up to a maximum of four people in two bedrooms – one double bed, one set of bunk beds. In addition, a travel cot can be provided upon request (this would be in the second bedroom along with the bunk beds).
The cottage has a bright, modern, lounge/diner with a large four-seater corner sofa, log burning stove, smart television and dining table and chairs/stools.
The shower room is modern, fresh and sparkling.
There is a porchway for hanging your coats and storing your muddy boots.
The cottage has front and rear gardens, laid to lawn with an alfresco dining area.
There is parking for two cars on the driveway.
FACILITIES
The kitchen is modern and well equipped with a fridge/freezer, washing/drying machine, oven, hob, microwave, toaster and kettle.
Fresh towels and bed linen are provided at the start of each stay. If you are staying for longer than one week and you would like us to provide fresh towels, fresh laundry and clean the cottage, please ask for details – there will be an additional charge.
AMENITIES
The following amenities are provided for the convenience of our guests:
Welcome Pack, including some; tea, instant coffee, sugar, milk, salt and pepper.
Cleaning products (washing up liquid, sponge, washing machine tablets, general-purpose cleaner).
Good quality, fresh bed linen.
Towels and tea towels (not beach towels).
Initial set of toiletries and toilet rolls.
A reasonable supply of firewood (including firelighters & kindling).
RESTRICTIONS
Please note that we operate a “No Pets” policy.
Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the cottage.
We promote a “No Shoes Inside” policy and therefore ask that you bring slippers or cosy socks with you when you come and stay.
CONNECTIVITY
Free Wi-Fi is provided as well as a 32-inch smart TV in the lounge.
OTHER ENTERTAINMENT
A selection of board games and books is supplied for your entertainment.
LOCATION AND PARKING
The cottage is tucked away along a quiet road, halfway up the Great Orme in Llandudno. The Great Orme is a stunning conservation area and therefore the cottage enjoys beautiful views from the doorstep. The cable cars can be seen in the distance going up and down the hill and the halfway tram station is a stone's throw away.
Off-road parking is available for two cars.
Llandudno’s town centre is at the foot of the hill and offers; lots of shops, cafes and restaurants, several chip shops, a chemist, numerous cashpoints, a post office, beaches, a promenade, a pier and a golf course!
