BE THE STORM HIKING CHALLENGE EVENT – EMPIRES EDGE 2022

Join us for an epic Coast to Coast hike following in the footsteps of the Romans along Hadrians Wall, Englands northern most Roman frontier.

Transport will be provided from London to Carlisle (including various stops on the way north), and return from Newcastle on Tyne on the days either side of the event making this a 5 day duration trip.

(Self drive/travel option is also available – please contact me for this option.)

Rough itinerary:

Thursday – Travel from London to Carlisle with hotel stay inc breakfast.

Friday – Transfer to the start point and the hike begins – covering approximately 30 miles along the National trail route to our first camp.

Camp will be set up with BBQ and drinks provided so you can relax and socialise regaling the days events.

Camping will be in large multi person tents with campbeds, you’ll just need your sleeping bag. If you prefer to bring your own tent that’s fine – We’ll transport it but you’ll have to set it up and put it down each day.

Saturday – Break camp and cover another 30 miles along the route till the next camp. Again camp will be set up with BBQ and drinks provided.

Sunday – Final leg, break camp and head to the beach at Tynemouth, you will leave the wall at Wallsend and continue on till you reach the sea. Fancy a dip?
