Every year an estimated 250,000 festival-goers leave their tents behind, turning fields into temporary tent graveyards.

Insane right?! But it’s not hard to see why. Owning a tent means dragging it home, drying it out and storing it for eternity. Even for the tents that are taken home, how many people actually use them again? A lot of tents end up forgotten about in storage before being chucked in the bin.

Selling it afterwards seems like the sensible option, but in reality you’re competing with thousands of other people offloading tents for next to nothing. All the while yours just sits there, in the way, taking up space.
