Crag End Farm Cottage overlooks the breathtaking Lorton Valley in The Lake District National Park, Nr Cockermouth. We are dog friendly and offer free on-site parking. Our cottage is on the mountainside allowing for stunning views, privacy and quiet. Walks and Hikes from the doorstep await. Ask about our Spa Upgrade package for The Spa at Armathwaite Hall Hotel. Crummock water is 2.7 miles away and all other western lakes are within 15-20 mins. Includes dog shower and secure area.

Our farm is on the mountainside. We have 28 acres of Rocks and Drops for hiking, walking, climbing and grazing our horses. It is located on The Crag allowing for uninterrupted views of the breathtaking Lorton Valley and beyond. Breakfast on the Terrace is overwhelming. At the top of our Crag the views are panoramic, to Scotland and afar. An impressive location for relaxation, romance, walking, lake swimming, Spa Break or hiking.

You access our farm and travel up the 200m tree-lined driveway. Once you have parked your car or motorbike, we urge you to get settled in, make a pot of filter coffee and relax on The Terrace, or get your walking boots on and explore! We encourage bikers and hikers who enjoy the finer things in life!

Things to note

Our Crag is beautiful, steep in parts but a good 20-minute hike to the top! Being an ancient Norman settlement they have left Roads on the side to walk along! They are amazing! We hope you love it as much as we do. There is safe parking for bikes at The cottage and storage for canoes, kayaks, etc.
